Experience and expertise makes us different. Caltrol’s AVS Division has over 150 years of combined isolation valve application and automation experience from our seven application engineers.
Caltrol’s AVS Division specializes in pneumatic and electric valve and damper actuation products for the oil and gas, refining, power generation, chemical, petrochemical, HVAC, biopharm, water distribution, waste water treatment, slurry pipeline, and the food and beverage industries. We engineer, size, and select the most cost effective solution for your automated valve needs. Caltrol is experienced in helping customers choose the appropriate automated valve components to meet their specific application. Valves and actuators are selected and sized based on the process conditions provided, customer standardization preferences, application requirements, and economics of the project. Accessories such as positioners, limit switches, solenoid valves, pressure pilots, quick exhausts, volume boosters, speed controls, position beacons, manual overrides, auto manual control stations, and remote control panels can be easily included in the assembled package. All mounting hardware is engineered and designed by Caltrol to provide reliable performance.

Assured Performance, Verified, and Documented
No automation job is complete at Caltrol until every valve package is tested and approved. Valve assemblies are cycle tested to confirm that the full open and close positions are achieved and that the valve strokes smoothly in both directions. If required, stroke speeds are verified and limit switch settings are confirmed. For instrument panel assemblies, Caltrol ISO 9001: 2000 approved assembly centers fully test operational and pressure test to ensure no tubing or fitting leaks. All testing is fully documented and digital photos are taken prior to shipment. Our standard is to provide an assembly that is installation ready when it reaches the customer’s location.
