Perform diagnostic tests
Check seat load pressure
Check packing
Remove instruments and inspect

Perform final diagnostic tests to document that the valve is performing at factory standards
Assure that hazardous locations (FM) certifications are not compromised

  • Inspection and documentation of receipt condition
  • Repair, calibration, and final testing to Fisher specifications and standards
  • Complete refurbishment to customer's specification, including paint specifications, flange protection, and certification
  • Final comprehensive repair report which includes the valve diagnostics, provided in electronic or printed format 
  • One year guarantee of workmanship as applicable through Emerson's Instrument & Valve Services warranty program

Parts Capabilities
— Instrument & Valve Services is more than a repair shop – we're the solution provider for all your control valves. We use certified  or new Fisher® parts on all of our Fisher repairs.  And, we have all of the Fisher design drawings and can even make brand new Fisher Control Valves complete with factory serial card documentation.


Valve Diagnostic Tools
— We use a full set of diagnostic tools, including FlowScanner™, AMS™ Device Manager, and AMS ValveLink.  These tools enable the storage of your valve's repair history within an asset management database, helping you eliminate unplanned maintenance. Using our diagnostic toolset, we can offer preventive and predictive solutions to all your plant valve applications. As a routine part of this service offering we apply the proven engineering and product expertise of the Emerson Process Management Network.

Onsite Repairs — With I&VS's onsite Repair program, our technicians will diagnose and analyze your valve inline, and then propose which repairs would be best for its situation. Our inline repair capabilities include welding, heat treatment, and machining. We'll do the repair and have your valve functioning properly on time.

Industry Leading Standards — I&VS's Service Center operates under a national quality management system that assures consistent process control from order entry through final product inspection and shipment. Factory-trained technicians use procedures developed to industry standards, NIST traceable measuring, and test equipment and qualified material suppliers.
