| Caltrol Announces ISO 9001:2001 Certification |
Glendora, California, December 16, 2003 -- Caltrol, Inc., Emerson Process Management's Local Business Partner for Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii, today announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality management system.
The awarding of ISO 9001 certification is the culmination of an audit of Caltrol's quality management system by DNV Certification, Inc., an internationally recognized standards registrar. ISO 9001:2000 certification is awarded to those companies that have successfully designed and implemented a company-wide quality management system that is suitable, adequate, and effective in supporting the company's quality policies.
This milestone could only have been achieved through the dedicated efforts of all of Caltrol's employees. The Caltrol team was able to integrate all of the elements required by the ISO Standard with our business processes and successfully complete our certification audit on November 20, 2003. This was an outstanding achievement and one of which we are all very proud.
