This 4-day course is designed for users of AMS Machine Works with the AMS 2140 and is based on a current software release. Students learn the steps of machine train configuration, including the development of analysis data acquisition settings and alarms for route-based data collection using the AMS 2140 with AMS Machine Works. Machine train configuration includes standard rotating equipment such as motors, pumps, fans and gearboxes as well as belt driven equipment. Students gain hands-on experience with route creation, route load and data transfer. Students are also instructed on the tools used for prioritizing monitored machinery health, detailed vibration analysis and case history management.
Prerequisites: Computer experience and some vibration analysis experience are recommended.
