We keep a large stock of inventory on hand and we only choose only the manufacturers that are most dedicated to helping us serve the best interests of our customers. Doing so ensures that we stock what you need and that we can get it to you quickly.
Our average lead time is between four and ten weeks.

Documentation

We understand the importance of proper documentation for each hose in operation within your facility. That's why every Caltrol hose has documentation that includes:
  • Material certification for hose
  • Material certification for end connections
  • Hose log data
  • Hose release data
  • Pressure test data (photo proof). 
Depending on the purchase date of your hoses, Caltrol can supply up to 35 years of historical data.

FAQs

Certificates are available by providing either a purchase order number or FC Serial Number.  Certifications are emailed within 24 hours of a request.
Yes! Caltrol can assist with hose selection based if the following information is provided:
  • What is going through the hose; pressure, temperature, is the hose steamed, autoclaved and/or subject to CIP ​

Yes, Caltrol can provide a factory analysis of why a hose failed.  It is necessary to provide detailed information regarding the application and document that the hose being returned is free from contaminants.​
Caltrol 's ability to supply hoses in a specific time period is predicated upon  the various manufacturers represented by Caltrol and their ability to produce hose products.  If it  is possible to select hose products from various suppliers, specific dates can be met. ​
Yes, we can supply silicone hoses. Please use our Hose Specification form for assistance:

Normally Caltrol can meet delivery by fabricating hoses from inventory located at the Caltrol facility in Livermore, CA.  In the event the hose requested is not in inventory Caltrol relies on manufacturers. 

Since, we have agreements with multiple suppliers it is usually possible to meet delivery dates.  We seek to meet delivery dates by working with customers to determine hose requirements several months in advance of due dates.  This information enables inventory levels to be increased to meet demand​
Etching is available.  All hoses from Caltrol are etched with a serial number​.
Colored hoses are available.  Note that lead times for colored hoses are typically longer that non-colored products.  Also, colored hoses are generally higher in cost.​
Yes. All hoses supplied by Caltrol are serialized.  The serial number enables us to access our hose data base.  Data includes the manufacturing date , hose type, lot and heat numbers, purchase order number, and pressure test information​.
Silicone hoses are Class VI tested.  Most Teflon hoses are also VI tested.  ​
